Tidjane Salaün Scores 6 Points in Hornets Preseason Defeat to Nets
In a preseason exhibition, Charlotte fell to Brooklyn 90-124. Tidjane Salaün logged 28 minutes and contributed 6 points on a 2-of-7 shooting line, including 1-of-3 from three-point range and 1-of-3 at the free-throw line. He added 2 rebounds, both on the defensive end, and recorded 1 assist, 2 steals, and 3 turnovers while committing 3 personal fouls.
Salaün’s plus-minus was -24, indicating the Hornets were outscored by that margin while he was on the floor. His defensive effort included the two steals, but he did not register any blocks.
Despite Salaün’s contributions, the Hornets were unable to keep pace with the Nets, who secured a decisive victory in the preseason matchup. The loss does not affect the team’s official record or standings.
