European NBA Players Shine in Preseason Action

French representatives posted solid numbers in two preseason contests. Joan Beringer scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and added seven rebounds for Minnesota in a 116-97 win over Milwaukee. Maxime Raynaud contributed 12 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-11 shooting for Sacramento in a 103-127 loss to Los Angeles. Nolan Traoré recorded 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting, perfect from the line at 4-of-4, and posted a +15 plus-minus in Brooklyn’s 124-90 victory over Charlotte.

German players had modest outputs. Moritz Wagner posted five points on 1-of-4 shooting, hit one three-pointer, went 2-of-2 from the line, grabbed four rebounds and handed out five assists for the Nets in their 124-90 win. Dennis Schröder added five points on 2-of-5 shooting, including a three-pointer, in Charlotte’s 90-124 defeat to Brooklyn.

Overall, the Timberwolves and Nets each secured comfortable preseason victories, while the Hornets fell in both of their games.
